Oakley was priceless walking around in her flippers and snorkel gear! Everyone at the pool was laughing when they would see her walk bye and not even care that she was having trouble getting around! It was the best!

Kory learned to play the drums while we were at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The guy on the far right was HOT! Even Kory thought so!!!!!

HAWAII 2009

Kory and I just got back from Hawaii with the kids. We had an awesome time! The weather was great and the kids had a blast! We first went to our timeshare in Oahu! I know I hate that Island but I love our timeshare there. We didn't even go in to town once! Yes I am proud of Kory! I kept him away from all the shops this time! After Oahu we went over to Kona for a week. We went to the beach, whale watching ( that you wont see any pics of because I threw up the whole time along with Oakley) the kids did dolphin quest and loved it! Jackson made some friends from all over the United states. Kory and Jackson and grandpa Brooks went golfing. Thanks to my mom for fixing dinner every night. She is the best. I haven't gotten a chance to download all the pics yet but what I have up so far is the beach at our timeshare and the Dole plantation train ride. (Don't waste your money on that) I will post more when I can.

This week I have no pics to post or show! This last week was a hard one for our family! I married into this family of freaks for GOLF! Everyone golfs or owns a GOLF COURSE! My husband's great grandpa is Ernie Schneiter Sr. and his great Uncle is Ernie Schneiter Jr.. They own Riverside Golf Course, and the Bluff! They are a awesome family! Ernie Schneiter Jr, his wife's name is Sue. She happens to be one of my mom's dearest friends. Sue passed away November 13th from a massive stroke. She was only 71. In my life time I can name 3 occasions when I have seen my mother cry. This was when my Grandma Bullen passed away, My Grandpa Bullen passed away and when my little girl Kathryn died.

My mom is a very private person. The funeral was on this last Tuesday. Kory and I got to the Church early because we were helping my mom with the food for the family after the cemetery. My mom asked if I would go with her to talk to Sue's daughters before anyone got there for the viewing. When we walked into the room and my mom saw her daughters, tears ran down her face, she started to shake and then sob. As she cried while Julie hugged her, I heard my mom tell Julie, " I don't have any friends other than my husband and my daughters, but your mom was my best friend and I have just lost my lunch partner." Sue was an extraordinary woman. She was so kind and loving to everyone. I will miss seeing her at my moms house just hanging out, decorating my mom's table's for parties, or just dropping her off from there lunch date. I will miss seeing her at all the family parties, showers, weddings, ect. Most of all I my heart hurts for my mom who has just lost a true friend.

So I guess that what I am trying to say is that I am MOST thankful that I know I will see the ones I love again some day. And most of all to tell my mom that I will be her new lunch partner!

Bellamy Brothers (Who is that)

YIKES!!!!!! I went to Wendover for my very first time last Saturday! Now I know why I have never been there before! We went with out friends and I admit we had a good time! I laughed my head off just watching people! It is so entertaining to me! The Bellamy Brothers only had one song that I had heard before! Between the guy at the casino with food in his beard and the girl by the bathroom with triple DDDDDDD's I don't know which one was more eye candy! The company was great and we had a great time! Can't wait for Restless Heart!!!!

Oakley Zane Woodland

Oakley has now been tagged! She is so excited! I have been thinking hard about 5 things you may not know about Oakley. It has been hard.

1. Oakley loves her dad! She calls him her snuggle pie. She will cuddle up to him all the time and fall asleep nestled next to him. They have this little thing that Kory will do to get a kiss from her. He will act like he is throwing out a fish line to her and rill her in to get a kiss. She loves it.

2. Oakley loves to sing. She will go in her room and turn on her boom box and blast her CD's. She will sing at the top of her lungs. It is usually between Hannah Montana and Jessie McCartney. She will dress up in the most hilarious outfits and dance as she sings.

3. Oakley loves to play with her friends. She is always wanting to play with someone. She loves to have friends over or go to there house. When her brother Jackson is playing with a friend it is a must that she have one over to play with also.

4. Oakley has a blanket that she is soooooooo attached to. It is the most hideous blanket you have ever seen. It has the ties on the end of it and she plays with those to help her fall asleep. If that blanket ever gets lost, Kory and I are hating it.

5. Oakley loves to eat cookie dough. Any time I am making cookies she always has her hands in the bowl eating the dough. She will eat it all if i let her.

There are days I feel like I am going to pull my hair out because of this child, I know our lives would be so boring without her. She makes us all laugh. She always has somthing funny to say. I love spending time alone with her while her brother is at school. It has been some great one on one time. I am blessed to have her in my life.

Jackson was tagged in kiddo tag!!! I am suppose to tell you 5 things about Jackson that you might not know!

1. Jackson loves to play sports. He loves Golfing and Basketball. He plays Golf as much as he can. He travels in the summer to different tournaments around Utah. He also plays on a basketball team with his friends threw out the school year that he loves.

2. Jackson's favorite place to go on vacation is Disneyland! He has been to Disneyland 6 times and for his seventh this very month, and also to Disneyworld once. Jackson says he feels like nothing bad is going to happen when he is at Disneyland and feels like a little kid again. Little does he know he is still a little kid!!!

3. Jackson loves to collect Golf Balls from all over the United States. He has a ball rack on his wall and it is filled with golf balls from different states. His most recent one if from Mount Rushmore. His grandpa Kelly brought it to him.

4. Jackson is very giving. When Jackson was 4 and i got remarried, Kory and I started to do Christmas for family's that needed help. We would make sure that Jackson went with us to buy the items and see what we were doing and who we were giving it to. He always is so willing to help someone else who has less than he does.

5. Jackson is loving. Dont get me wrong Jackson and Oakley fight like normal brothers and sisters fight, but he loves his little sister. They have wresteling matches at night together and have the time of there life. If Oakley starts to cry he is always making sure she is ok. After we put Jackson in bed at night, he always seems to walk back into Kory and my bedroom and give both of us a hug and tell us both that he loves us so much! I look forward to this everynight and am very sad on the nights that he is not home.

I love Jackson more than he knows. I am proud of what he is today despite what he has been threw in his life thus far. He is a great student and is very smart. I love how he can light up a room to make everything seam better. He brings a great joy to our family. He makes me proud to say that I am his mother. I posted the picture above because it is one of my favorites. His big brown eyes and that little face. It was from one of our many trips to Disneyland.

I am tagging 5 more kids!

A FRIEND SENT THIS TO ME TODAY AND IT IS PERFECT FOR HOW I FEEL!!!!!!

Wednesday, September 24, 2008

K, i just had to vent about how petty some people are in our community! Don't get me wrong I love were i live! Some people that live in this area, need to get a life. Along with that so do their kids! They also need to put on some clothes that cover themselves! Her kids are going to have someone knocked up by the time they are sixteen! ( not that i have room to talk on that subject, i at least made it to 19) Also the people that follow others and don't have a back bone or can't let their kids do something without another kid holding there hand! Have they ever heard of teaching their kids to be independent? What happened to kids that want to be a leader not a follower? I just wanted to vent about how pathetic some people are and i feel better now!

All day long my little brother Brett has been on my mind! I couldn't figure out just why! Maybe its because lately I have been more alert to what is going on around me and who is present. I always feel a void because he is not there. You know those people who always talk about how wonderful "there child" is and how great of a kid he is, well that's my brother. I pray that both of my children will be half of what he is today. He is the ultimate example of CHRIST. I think I have always taken things for granite and i am realizing how blessed I really am. I have a Mom and Dad who support me it what ever I do. I had a childhood that only 99.9% of the children in the world could only dream of having. I have brothers and sisters whom I love dearly, but I have always had a special bond with my little brother......Brett. I put together some pictures of him that i have received over the last year and 4 months that he has been gone on a mission to Norway. I just want to say that i am proud of him for what he is today and what he has chosen to do. He has done so many things that i wish I would have done and i am proud to say that he is my brother and i am proud to say that my parents have made him what he is today.....
